Creepy Paul must be an older adult. I knew there were people like me playing VMK that were over 30 and we in VMK boards know there are some real creeps out there. I have been lucky and except for a bad group of pin traders, I have never met anyone really perverted or creepy.
Then again I live in southern California so I am used to devoutly punk rockers, grunge, cross dressers, goths, old fashioned, tourists, western dressed cowboy-wannabes, movie-star-wannabes and so many styles that it is nothing new.

Yeah, he's in his 50's. I was a VMK Tech for a while, and there were far more adults that played that game than children.mechurchlady wrote:Creepy Paul must be an older adult. The kids are shocked that so many adults play "kids games" Would I know him on VMK, if so I would like to know as I have run into vampires, vampire hunters, daters, and lunatics. Someone said these games make it easy for adults to get to know kids.
The board I ran was VMK related and these kids would put full name, school, age, birthdate, town they lived in and stuff that made it easy to get a full profile of the kid. They would not listen to anyone about internet safety.

You're right, Churchy. They don't listen. I play on MUSHes (text based online roleplaying games, sort of a cousin to the ancestors of modern MMORPGs like Everquest.) On one game where I'm on the staff to help new players and do character approval, we had a kid put their personal information into their character sheet. The other Helpstaff and I had to ask the Owner/Head Administrator of the game to erase the information, because it would have been very easy for a predator with knowlege of MUSH commands to come in and find this info.

I miss them kids so much and that is part why I quit the internet except on game not even VMK. Thy are putting things like what they like to eat, wear, favorite bands, colours, sex, food, and their whole lives out there. It would be easy for a predator to start chatting with them and be so alike with the kid that the kid is a goner and bites the bait. Their parents do not know and/or care that their kids are up at 2 am or that their kids are listening to a song about a woman who is unfaithful and during the video sings the song while doing a hoochie momma dance around her new love.
Thanks for the warnings. We may not all have kids but we can all protect someone else's kid.

I've met Tim. He does seem really shy, and harmless. I know other people who have seen him, and they feel the same. However, if we are going on about creepy, what about Linda Skywalker? ;)

She only shows up during Star Wars Weekends. ;)
What about Towel Baby Lady? I've heard of her, but I don't know the whole story about her.
Anyone else ?

No, oh noooo. She doesn't. I was at MK, and there were weeks at a stretch where she would show up a couple of days a week.

Oh yeah, I know who that is. I still remember standing in line for a celebrity fastpass and she was in the line next to me telling the cast member how she had arrived at park at around 5:30 in the morning to be in line. Scary.

I aksed the question about the Suzy and Perla fan, because I don't know what to think about him. On some threads he seems very "childish", on other threads he seems rather intelligent, and I thought: let's ask some CMs who have "met" him, what they think about him :)
But yes, I am sure there are more creepy people than him around, bwahahaha!
Just wait until i'll be back at WDW (in May) ;)
