I see both, they talk to CM's and Guests, but no more than any other CM. Most of the people I know that are on the Dream Squad are great.

For those of you from Fantasyland, is the Dream Maker something you are doing currently? We had a similar thing going here in Africa, but it was cut. We were told all positions property wide were deemed unnecessary, but I figured that was just a line.

I watched an obnoxious fat-assed woman first yell and ask where the special re-entry gate was at DL (obviously, she hasn't been there in a few years), then ask the poor CM "O.K., this is supposed to be TYOAMD, we've been here for two days and haven't had one person approach us - how are we supposed to get something???"

Hopefully the Dream Squad and Dream Maker types will avoid her type like the plague.

:bawl:

OMG, I know we discussed this one before. You freakin' SG's, it's supposed to be a surprise, not a damn extra with your admittance! TYOAMD was not set up for that. I'm waiting for the stalkers, seriously. Hmm, that brings up a question for me. Can APs follow the people in charge and just "happen" to be at the right place? I know when we went to the info meeting, we were told not but no system is totally foolproof, right?

As far as I know we still have it as of last week. Theres still the signup sheet for it too.

And as far as I know, we are one of the only areas that dream squad is helping us with our magical moments.

Seems like TYOAMD has the potential to really cause some fights...

If I could put up with low wages and general stupidity, I'd consider a job at one of the parks just to watch it all go down. Instead I will expect nothing less than a full detailed report from a current CM :)

There've been known instances of people on a certain infamous Disney-oriented board doing just that...

My nephew was just down in DW in Dec. He got picked in 3 different parks. He said it was a total blast. He did say that when he was picked the 3rd time he made it clear to the CM that he felt guilty because there were so many other people to choose from. I can't remember everything they gave or did for him in each park except for letting him go ahead of everyone in line, choose where he wanted to sit on a ride and going behind the scenes of some area. He is a fairly tall guy, with a 10 year olds excitment when he goes to Disney.

If there are stalkers out there, they would have a very hard time of following the DS prize givers around. That is because the prize givers come out from back stage and return the same way. The guests really have to be in the right place at the right time............. :D:
