Awww hell Wombat, let's just make it a full face mask that not only includes the smile but an attentive expression as well :twisted:BRWombat wrote:How about a mask to cover the lower part of the CM's face, imprinted with permanent smile, :D: so the cast member can frown, scowl or curse behind it without putting a dent in the magic???
Hmmm... I thought about adding prerecorded answers to come out of the mask to keep the CM from having to say the same thing over and over... but then I realized that each of these suggestions gets us step by step closer to replacing the CM with an audioanimatronic! Pros and cons to this? Discuss. :p:BirdMom wrote:Awww hell Wombat, let's just make it a full face mask that not only includes the smile but an attentive expression as well
ROFLMAO. Jerry Whitfield, this former Lead/Manager on the West side made a movie something to this effect. I'm sure Weeble would remember it if he would ever pop in again. It was a spoof of Terminator 2 called Operator 2 (as in ride operator). We had just gone live with the old ETS computer system (Employee Timekeeping) in the early 90's and the joke was that in the future the Master Computer realizes it doesn't need the CM's anymore, that it can not only run the park by itself but also explain baby switches (now called rider switches) to the guests. So the computer sends drones out to kill all the 21st century CM's as well as a Terminator to the past (our present) to take care of things now. It was only funny if you worked at Disneyland, with all the plays on people's reputations and some of the weird stuff going on in the background.BRWombat wrote: but then I realized that each of these suggestions gets us step by step closer to replacing the CM with an audioanimatronic! LOL, that is hilarious, you guys made a movie, :D: The parade kids, this one time, were planning to make a movie called "Circular Flow: The Movie" based on the Circular Flow around The Hub! The basis of this so - called movie was that Michael Eisner and ASIMO would run loose in Disneyland killing everybody and it was the Parade Kids job to stop them!! They even had which actors would play CMs!! It was a funny concept, LOL!!BirdMom wrote:ROFLMAO. Jerry Whitfield, this former Lead/Manager on the West side made a movie something to this effect. My biggest apologizes Driver dylan for not catching this sooner,Driver_dylan wrote:Beer/ hard liquor : To combat the SG's who after all other means fail, still have to ask you why your attraction is closed.
How about just branding them...lol So you will know the minute you see them. Or you just press a button and the SG disappears down a tunnel. :D:DLRFantasmic!Dan wrote:- Tasers - for use during guest control in the walkways to get the guests moving.
