A few things I forgot to add (I had to pick up my son from work), There was 2 articles in the news.
#1 Parents had kid-cams installed in their cars. This teen girl ran off the road, while on the phone, never ONCE did she drop the phone while screaming.
#2 Another gal was involved in a fatal double roll-over.Her severed arm was still clutching the phone.
This by no means implying that only females are involved in accidents using cell-phones,these are just 2 the media brought out.

My husband travels alot on the highways and he comes home almost daily complaining. Women in SUV'S or like cars, tailgating and on cell phones. He tells me constantly that he could be going 80 and they are tailgating him.

Yes, yes they do!! If it was my ideal world, I would make it that ALL ANNOYING cell phones go in the hooooooole!!!

Nothing is more annoying than either that damn screen light or some bastard talking and you know it's not to his neighbor.
What annoys me the most is that people know that they are suppose to turn off or silence their cell phones, but it STILL manages to RING!!! Why??

Because they don't: :readit:

These are probably the same people who can't figure out how to turn the flash off on their cameras.

Darph Nader,

ROTFL! :D: Exactly!!! Depending on where I am in the process, I will either make sure to flush when they're on the phone, or turn the water on full-blast when washing my hands. My hope is that the person on the other end of the phone listening to all of this is busy eating lunch...

A lot of people have forgotten that the operational part of vacation is vacate. But, many companies who demand 24 hour availibility/connectivity while at home, expect the same if your on vacation. It might explain why so many people are stressed or burned out

A few months ago I was at the Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. Jay Leno was performing and some guy's cell phone started ringing. Jay said "give me the phone" and he answered it and talked to the guy's mother. It was a riot. I think the guy may have learned a lesson.

Yeah, "if I leave my cell phone on, I can get celebrities to talk to family members."

I hear you there.Last Sept,on our way to Anaheim,we were stuck in the parking lot they call the 805/I-5 merge. EVERYONE behind me was on their cell-phone.Almost got rearended 4 times. Hell, even the next morning,my supervisor at work calls me (I'm at the hotel getting ready to cross the street to the park) and asks "Hey can you come in today? The weekend guy called in sick, and Aric (my immediate supervisor) is in Casa Grande". I tell him "Sure,I'll be there in 8 or 9 hrs". He forgot I was in Calif. Damn,I hate electronic leashs.

A few years ago, my church kept having this problem during our services. One particular Sunday, we had at least 1 phone ring in each of the first 2 services. Finally, in 3rd service, the one doing the announcements said, "And we'll be having pizza after the service today ... courtesy of the next person whose cell phone rings." No phone rang that service. :D:
