You all make valid points. I remember one time I went to DL, and this was back when there were the A, B, C, D, & E tickets. I wanted to go on a ride with the friend who was with me, but I didn't have the proper ticket. My friend told me to go to a ticket booth and buy a ticket for the ride, and I did. The system back then worked with those tickets. Knott's had basically the same system, and when DL dropped the tickets in favor of all-inclusive admission, Knott's did the same, and they have the same problem. Rides like Montezooma's Revenge, Ghostrider (which in summer has a three hour wait in line), Jaguar!, Silver Bullet, Log Ride, etc., tend to have really long lines, while others, such as the leased ride (seperate charge) Screamin' Swing, often go begging for riders. I agree-- raise the wages to a livable level, add real benefits, treat us with respect, back us up when guests are rude and make them sorry they messed with us, and yeah, improve general conditions, and we will tell our friends and family members that if they need a job, to go to DL or Knott's. Pride goes before a fall, and management pride will fall before the reality that working in a theme park sucks! This may be the summer (only 55 days to go until fall, folks) when things turn around, the top gets blown off, the system crashes. If not summer, the holiday season--Halloween and Christmas. Wouldn't it be something if the monsters at Knott's Scary Farm Halloween Haunt ganged up on management and exacted revenge on their slave master managers and their pets?

Pirate John!!! (runs and hugs) How's the corpsey training going? Any good cases yet? Pictures, I need pictures. Yes, I'm twisted.. But you do make a valid point. How do you expect CM's to work for what? Ramen and store brand soda? All I afford when I worked there..
Felinefan..I love that. Monsters get such awful treatment as well as regular GSA's. Someday soon, if things don't change that could happen. "KNOTT'S SCARY FARM UNDER SEIGE. MANAGERS SEEM TO BE CONTROLLED BY A EVIL FORCE AND ARE ACTUALLY DOING THEIR JOBS. MONSTERS DENY ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THE SITUATION. FILM AT 11."

SkullRocker wrote:How about messing around with the park hopper pass? On days when DL is going to be at capacity they could seriously discount the price of admission to California Adventure. I mean JUST California Adventure.
On packed days they do allow guests to visit DCA with their Disneyland ticket if they have to shut the gates. I know it doesn't help the price they paid for Disneyland but in a sense they are getting a park hopper for the price of one park.

Pirate John: That's a great pic! :giggles: If I really want gory pics, I could go to Rotten.com. Thanks for the laugh!! But I don't know, the name of the machine makes me think it's for cloning midgets like me. Minilyser, huh??
