This goes for 2005 and 2006 cast members...the laziest bunch of idiots I have ever seen. The 2004 and below cast members run the park!
Speaking as a 2006 hire, you sir, are formally invited to kiss my ass.

I see you are from WDW. I was referring to the ones at DLR. Sorry I should have clarified.

Al's article was referring to DLR not WDW which is what I was commenting on.

Well then, I invite you to kiss my ass. I am a 2006 hire and I value my job...and I work very hard. So let's not go an generalize all new hires shall we?

You are in the reservation center according to your profile. The article refers to the cast members IN the park (i.e. attractions, stores, custodial, odv).

Polar knows exactly what I am talking about.

I know what you're talking about too, but I agree that you're painting with too broad a brush.

Every year's crop of newbies contains a few gems and a whole lot of lamers. As Disney finds it steadily harder to hire people (at these pay rates), they are having to lower standards just to make the body count. As a result, each of the past several years has had a higher percentage of lamers and fewer gems.

Still, it's not sufficient reason to assume the *next* newbie is a lamer. Yeah, it's likely, but why not treat them as gems until they prove otherwise. What's it going to cost you? After all, the lamers will show their colors soon enough.

*Then* you can dump all over them! :flamethro
