I really feel those skating shoes should be banned from disney.

Actually, they *are* banned from WDW theme parks and Downtown Disney.

Trouble is, with park greeters spread out to cover four turnstiles each, the chances of catching the little buggers on the way in is minimal.

I did used to require kids to remove the wheels before boarding my attraction.

"But the wheels don't come off!"

"Then I guess you can't ride."

"What if I take the shoes off?"

"Then you can't ride because you aren't wearing shoes."

"Oh. Well, I guess the wheels *do* come off."

The thing about those annoying heeleez is that no one backs up the banned rule. I would soo tell every kid I saw with them on to take them out, but I'd just get yelled at because no one else had told them the same and they probably wouldnt after that. I guess I could always just ban them from my shoppe at the time. I do get a kick out of those stuck up little kids and their evil parents... I'm a CM- I make the rules.. *evil laugh*

I hate those shoes. My ten year old begs for them daily. He's been told that I'll be happy to get him a pair of rollerblades, but he will NEVER own shoes that he can just skate upon whenever he feels like it.
On a positive note, my restaurant is mostly carpeted :D:
Their dumb little shoes won't work there :p:

Don't be too impressed by the fancy words I use. My taste is mostly in my mouth and my class is third grade.

I work at ET Adventure at Universal.

Those little brats with the skate shoes are the worst. When they get off the ride, they skate off the ride full speed towards the pit (4 foot drop where the other bike comes in), and then most of the turn at the last minute to go out the ramp. I can just picture one doing that as a bike is coming in and falling in the pit and getting hit and killed.

I stand in front of the bike and stop any kid who even tries, and tell them they cannot ride those inside the building. (I let the Team Members outside deal with them there.)
