Hey, it's just the 99% of lawyers that give the other 1% a bad name.

Or as a button I used to wear said, "I'd hate lawyers, too, if only I weren't one." It didn't make me very popular around the courthouse.

Which reminds me of the old adage... "A small town that cannot support one lawyer can always support two."

(What a great first post for me, haha)

So yeah, my uncle belongs to this firm...I can't remember what the actual names are, but they shortened them to MoFo and put it on tshirts and baseball caps and stuff....my uncle never understood why me and my brothers made fun of his hat mercilessly...

But anyways, back to the OP, unfortunatly everything I know about legal-ness, I learned from Legally Blonde, so I'm not going to be much help in the Advice category, but I will definately add to the Good Luck category with a hearty "Good luck!". Anyways, I hope everything works out for the best, and that the pain'll end soon!

To let you know - I went through a three year plus debacle with worker comp, company referred doctors, got a legal representative, and, still got royally screwed by the company. And, the worker comp lawyer I got was limited in what they could do for me. If you look for a lawyer, talk to a shop steward and get the information for our union referred lawyers...if you are in attractions. Seriously. I found out too late that I could have followed this route and probably had better coverage in the long run.

Disney wins. No matter what the overall situation, the company is armed to the teeth and really doesn't care. Be ready for a long and nasty uphill battle.

Been there, done that, got little to nothing to show for it, and, I still have the initial injury.
