The planter near Plaza West. You know the first one they shrunk. Where the old CFA lane was for the old fireword setup.

[quote="felinefan"]Has anyone been falsely accused of anything or actually physically attacked by a guest? I mean other than being blamed for the weather, ride rules or otherwise suffered injury because of a guest? I remember one time, in my first year at Knott's, a woman became convinced that I had called another guest stupid (untrue), and after her little girl had gotten off of Red Baron, she told me that her daughter had lost her purse in a specific plane, so I searched it. Then, she said that the purse had been lost in another plane, which I also searched] hey it happen but not all guest are we have some nice guest who will give you a complietment

And that's just about the shortest height restriction in the park! I pity the crew on Boomerang or Montezooma's Revenge when this asshole gets to them!

Still, it could be worse. I lost track of the number of times I was cursed out by guests who got wet on Bigfoot...

a few nights ago. I didn't hear much more beyond that, but I sure hope
Anaheim PD was called and charges of assault & battery were filed.

That's another thing that just sucks, the park says you're on your own when
it comes to filing criminal charges against guests attacks.

I wonder if another report citing "failing to provide a safe working environment" with DOSH would put a fire under some asses?
If you are assaulted by a guest, and management doesn't do anything to either prevent or minimize the event, then you are perfectly in your rights to file a complaint with OSHA (or DOSH, depending on who has jurisdiction). It may not result in an inspection, but at least they have to explain to OSHA why what happened did, as well as what they plan to do about it. That's usually enough to get most folks excited to fix problems. Even if for only a little while.

And depending on the worker's compensation system where you are, any injuries sustained at work are usually claimable. Companies may try to get you to not go to the doctor ("see our company nurse!") because they know their insurance rates go up every time a claim is filed. Even if it's denied.

Cheers!

That was the best she could do? I said, "what?!!" and started laughing and told my supervisor what had actually happened, so she said, "yeah, I didn't think you'd say anything like that."

Lucky for you, you weren't a new hire, then the sup wouldn't know what to do.
