one more thing (I sound like Columbo)

I would usually form my opnion of those celebrities based on how they treated their children, spouses and the cast members. If they acted like we were dirt under their feet, and their family members were only a little better, I'd stop going to their movies, or watching their shows. If they acted like decent human beings (which about 3/4 of them were) then they were ok. What I found amusing was that in my own experience, the people who were the biggest stars (rock stars, movie stars) were the most easy going. It was the people who had weird or little parts on so-so shows that were passholes...they just acted like the sun rose and set on themselves. I guess that's what happens when you believe your own hype!

I've noticed that before also. Once John Travolta came into the breakroom at Space Mtn and had a conversation with everybody in there. The manager was screaming at us later on, but he started the conversation. It made him feel like a jerk when John Travolta chewed him out for yelling at us

I've also noticed that the soap stars are the worst. Unless they are really big, like Susan Lucci, they act like a passhole, and treat everybody like dirt. Some celebreties have even been banned from WDW. Like Carrie Fisher from Star Wars. From what I heard she hit another guest at Star Wars weekends when he wanted her autograph at an autograph location.

Tourbunny, and all other guest relation escorts, I don't think that they could pay me enought for all you put up with when with some of these celebrities. I've seen some on rides that you have to give a spiel and they will ask the guide giving the spiel so stop when they have a phone conversation. Usually when I'm in that situation I just talk louder and act like i didn't hear them. The 70 other people on my tour have priority over them. :pimp:

The other day when we had "radio day" at the park I was at Load 1 at Mansion when Danny Bonaduchy, Bonaduchie, Bona... however the hell you spell his last name...asked me if he could fit 3 people in the buggy. I said yes and then almost peed on the load belt. We also had Mark and Brian from KLOS right outside taking pictures with guests by the hearse.

Chirstina Aguilara came on Space once and while she was on we had a cascade. A couple of our girls went out to reset and when they got to her rocket she looked the CM up and down and gave her a dirty look. You see, the CM's boobs were bigger than hers.

I've been at the park for 4 years and have NEVER seen Tom Hanks (who is my favorite actor)!!! I always miss him. I'm going to guess that that's a good thing though because I'm like Lucy Ricardo when it comes to famous people. I'm sure I could hold in my enthusiasm but you may have to call custodial after he leaves.

I met Tom Hanks on Monorail, at the old hotel station. I think I rubbed him the wrong way. He was at the rear of the station, on the cast member side (where we used to have round trip guests wait), and was waving to some guests in the pen who recognized him.

Well, the train was approaching the station, and we are trained to stop the train if a guest is on the load side of the platform. I needed to get Tom back to the bench so the train wouldn't stop, and I wanted to do it nicely, so I said something like, "there's a seat over here if you like."

He looked at me as if I was being rude and went to sit down, almost like as if he was being scolded.

I should have explained to him that the train would have stopped unless he backed away, but I didn't. He seemed like a real nice guy, and I felt bad that he might have thought I was being a jerk or something.

Oh well.

Tom Hanks

You weren't there the day Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson and fam came to Space? They are really nice and down to earth. Seen Rob Snider and Bob Saget on Space. Actually met and talked with Hellen Hunt, Haley Joel Osmond and Kevin Spacy one day at Indy. It was while they were making Pay it Foward. I was the unload CM and escorted them to the elevator and talked with them while we were waiting for the elevator to come back down and open. I gave Haley my rubber indy snake. Seen Arnold Schwatze..whatever and his fam. Not really at tall as you think he would be. Vanessa Williams and her basketball star husband and fam. One of the best was the day that Hugh Heffner and the Damm tripplets rode indy. I was in tower at the time and everybody kept coming in the tower to see their jumblies bouncing in the monitors. For fun I put in a zone inhibit(basically stops the jeep at the specific zone I designate till I release it) while they were in the middle of the bridge and just watched their jeep bounce all around. Was at Indy the day all of NSYNC came on the ride. It was a big deal because the had their tour bus driving them around backstage as to not be seen and the came in the back of all the attractions. Was at Load 2 at mansion one day when Dave Koolea(Full house) came in. Was at dipatch at Splash when John Stamos came in. I wanted to ask him if he really bought the old DL markee, but I couldnt leave dipatch. I really seen a lot in 4 years. They're just like normal people. Most of them really nice, a few not so nice...not to mention name, Bob Saget, real Jerk.

I don't remember seeing them when I was at Space. I might have been there, but in a different spot in the rotation. I ER'd a lot from Space - didn't care for it too much.

Well... Joan Cusac once rode my boat at jungle and her whole party was very freindly and laughed a lot... tht much was meh.

But two days later when she came back and requested my boat... that rocked!

"How many people woke up this morning saying 'I have to do the Jungle Cruise?' yeah, me too, I sat on the edge of my bed crying for half an hour."

I was on a break! I remember when Rob Schnider came in. Remember we all ran into tower to watch him on the monitors?

I just remembered some of the others that I've seen but I was in parades then so you know it was a long time ago. I stood next to Bob Saget during rehearsals (who is a huge jerk but what would you expect from Paul Pressler's neighbor and friend?). I had to do a whole show in front of John Stamos and fam. He flippin hot. Luckily I was dressed as "Doc" so he couldn't see me staring at him. I remember seeing Bernadette Peters (who I adore like no other), Brandy, Whoopi Goldberg and others when the 'Wonderful World of Disney' aired the newest version of 'Cinderella.' (That dates me)

I just remember being at Matterhorn, before I learned it giving people I had never met, update training for Space when Tom Hanks and fam came on it. I asked if I could peek out to look but couldn't see 'cause I'm short and couldn't see through the stairwell. Grrr!

catherine zeta jones said I was "adorable and cute". that so made my life. another good one is the time one of the girls of Bew*tched tried to
get fresh with me and a cohort as we escorted them around the park working guest control.
