I would also classify Guest Services as all the kids that got straight A's. They are supposed to be the perfect cast member. In school they probably would have been the perfect student.

Can definately agree with the Merchandise and Attractions descriptions since I've worked both of those.

Guest Relations it so true. Before I started working at Disney, I was "living" at Fantasmic so I got to know a lot of people that I still know today...except one person. We used to talk constantly and then I slowly moved out to the other parks. Well when I started working here she had moved over to Guest Relations and I ran into her one day and found out she had one of those "Yeah whatever you say" attitude.

Needless to say we don't talk anymore...

Here's one:
Guests: The exchange students. You can never understand what they are saying but can help you learn things you never knew about.

Characters/Parade
Cheerleaders/Football players. They work about 2 hours a day and walk around doing whatever the fuck they want the rest of the time.

Attractions
The popular kids. Everyone knows them and sadly wants to be like them or at least transfer to their area.

Stores
We're cool, but non-chalantly cool. Everyone knows us, but we don't brag about our popularity.

Outdoor Vending
The rebel kids. They're always out of class/outside in their cool sunglasses and hats.

Custodial
The loser kids. You say hi to them in class but never acknowledge their existence in the halls or backstage. Although some of them are super hot.

Guest Services
Fucking snobs.

Night Custodial
They're just plain creepy.

I got this from Malinda in MySpace's Disney Cast Members
 Now, this is what made me VERY bitter during my 6.5 years at Disneyland! I was in ODV and then moved on to Attractions hoping to be happier! Alas, favoritism and "clicks" always interfered with me and etc. Sad of all, the peopel in TDA are the eleite high society and Guest Services are no better! But what is sad though is that your own classmates betray and turn their backs on you if you don't meet their criteria!

I have tried very very hard to be friendly with EVERYONE in all departments but all of the friehnds I had disappearsed leaving me bitter and resentful... And just thinking about it still leaves me these feelings!

Indeed, Disneyland IS HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!

I really don't know, eventhough thats a good suggestion. The Participant CMs are CMs that work in Disney Theme Parks, but your employer is a participating company (Aramark, Kodak, etc.) To make a high school stereotype for participants I guess it would be the students that are secluded in a special group in high school or foreign exchange students. Anyone have a better suggestion.

We have the same problem at tower. By all means people arnt allowed to be back door because everyone must see the documentary of HTH and must read the safety signs at the front gate. The only time we back door people is if they are high celebs coming to tower, and for that we usually get a call from Guest rela.
