Rumors going around are that possibly July 4th weekend it may be soft opened. My boyfriend has heard those rumors and thinks we should buy him an AP that weekend. :)

Space HH is on the new schedule, i'm thinking July 1st or 2nd, but ya'll didn't hear it from me. Once they finish all the effects it will be awesome! I went on it like ellevendy billion times today, and i didn't get sick once i was used to it. I want to learn it, but i don't want to give up thunder, or steam trains...

Thanks Polar! Called hotline last night after my shift & was thrilled to hear Space Tests were 8:15 p.m.-12 a.m. Almost all DCA closers went over & LOVED the new Space. No lines = CM perks ]

Finally made it on space mtn and it's so awesome!!! I absolutely love the new music! I'm so addicted to it. I did it four times last night and that was coming off an 11 hour shift. This will be the only time we'll be able to get on it with no line. Once it opens it's going to be a mad house!!!! I have also heared rumblings of soft openings on the first. But I dont know how many people it went through before it got to me.

I lucked out and was training for a closing lead-like shift last sunday, so we took our hour lunch over at space with one of the other leads and our closing scheduler. Went on the ride twice, after getting MAJORLY lost the first time and ending up in the guest cue line (the cue is VERY nice BTW)
First time... everything was awesome. The track still has the same turns and everything. Next time we didn't have any music, but I think it was happening all night because the cast members kept asking if the music worked when the cars came in. :) Overall... it's still as great as it was before.. with a nicer cue line and the opening lights going up the hill revamped. I miss the old music, but the new stuff is good too.
One thing I did notice, thought, is how small the seats on the ride still are. I don't know if anyone who is bigger figured is going to find them uncomfortable or not.

Finally got to go on it Tuesday and Wednesday. Man that was fun. Got to go on it 6 times total. Great ride, great visual effects, great new soundtrack. For some reason I really loved the new visual effects at the beginning and the end. Had a kid ask me about it when I got back to DLH after he overheard me tell another CM that I had gone, so I got to brag.
