Two words: Electric Umbrella.
I always felt sympathy for them, and if you dont, well, then you may just not have a soul.

I have a soul (Yet some people say I don't) but I think everyone, at least once in their lifetime has been to the EU and seen those costumes.

If you have...and you still want to work there...er, kill yourself.

Well KOD is gone but before it went their ride ops were wearing an ugly teal button shirt with tan pants thats the new board walk costume, and the custodial (park services) got new ones too, a very bright yellow shirt with tan pants, but the nastiest has to be the new shift lead costume, a purple shirt and tan pants, all the shift leads wear the same costume.

I work out in Pooh's Corner and despite looking like I came straight out of "Heidi" They are pretty comfy. The ones I can't stand at Adventure land stores- brown culottes that add about 5 inches to each hips! Plus you can forget about using the bathroom on a 15 min break-it takes 20 just to get out of that thing.

abc wrote:The females at star tours in disneyland still have to wear that (with blue zippers) and the males have to wear all blue (with orange zippers). Thank heaven they're not actual jumpsuits, so they look ok and are pretty comfortable. what's the wdw costume for star tours now? IMO the ugliest at disneyland would have to be the male main street outdoor vending costume with the hat (though the female edition looks good), or possibly Its a small world now that i saw in costuming that hats are mandatory.

Last time I saw them, the shirts were orange with blue accents on the collar and cuffs. The pants are now blue with orange flaps on the pockets. So now instead of looking like an inmate you look like a UF Gators fan

Sounds like MGM and DL have different Star Tours costumes. Cause ours are still the psuedo jumpsuits last time I checked.

What about favorite costumes? I personally love the Mansion costume (long skirts are so comfy!). The blouse isn't bad and when its cold enough the cape cloaks look so awesome. So what if there's a funny looking bat on my head. The CC attractions costumes are kind of bleh, pants don't breath and the shorts look funny. Fantasmic! who ever designed the steam trains paints didn't think women had hips. I don't mind the costume other then that and I love the jacket (who cares if its neon yellow).

I love guest control lead, I feel so importan just by wearing a tie. And DCA parade those blue pants are so soft and comfortable.

My ugliest costume (yes, worse than the Yellows, which were pretty comfy):

Toontown vending. Back when we wore yellows and had themed costumes, the popcorn and churro carts in Toontown had an oversized chef's costume:

Chef's pants, a thick (almost like canvas) white chef's coat with big blue checks and oversized 3" buttons of pastel blue, reddish-orange, and yellow, and a poofy chef's hat which never was the right size - either falling down over your eyes or cutting off circulation to the brain. And it was hot, in a land of no trees. Id rather work the old Toontown pedal cart (back when the bikes were attached and we could ride around the area) wearing knickers and argyle socks.

surprised to see nobody's mentioned Tree of Life (It's Tough to be a Bug) yet. Green baggy costume ... looks like pjs. I've never had the misfortune of having to wear it, but I've heard they're rather uncomfortable.

The new WDW jungle cruise costume is the Kilimanjaro Safaris costume, minus a shoulder patch. It's a decent costume, just looks out of place at Jungle Cruise.

The ODF Adventureland costumes are disgusting. They're like Arabian pajamas.

Toontown and Frontierland are the comfiest costumes. Tomorrowland is alright, except I hate those things on the shoulders.

Liberty Square is my favorite costume though...I feel dignified wearing that.

The coolest costume I have seen (they have a picture of a model wearing it in the new costuming building) is that of "Take Flight" or a version of one of the rides that used to be in the Buzz building. It was like, purple pants with a purple and grey shirt.
