New Nametags?

And myself, I'll be working "Chris" at Studio C. (Won't need the name tag since everyone will know my name anyways because of audio).

Which is easy, because Im the only original Chris there at Coaster. Everyone else, they're just pretenders (If you can't figure this out, my name is Chris, but I still go by Indy more than anything else).

That and Launch Base.
And Construction.
And the break room.

I just checked the portal, and if you type "New Nametags" in the search box, it brings you to a page that was created just recently saying we should start wearing our nametags May 5th. There is a picture, however, it is not showing up for me.

Hmmmm. Maybe I'll just stay at Universal for the next 18 months. (I wonder if I could get away with wearing my old DL tag if I come back?)

I wonder what will happen for Seasonals. I'm CT at WDW and am guessing that I won't get a new name tag...nor would there be time for them to make one up for me if I only come down a week or so at a time to work (plus I'd want my language pins on my tag...so who knows...) I'd imagine that they wouldn't mail out the new nametags to Seasonal Cast???

WDWs aren't that bad -- white, with the castle on top, California, Tokyo, Paris and Hong Kong where the stars are on the Where Magic Lives tags, and Happiest Celebration on Earth instead of a hometown. According to the portal, we're supposed to wear them starting May 1st.

Campus Reps should get the new ones in the fall; that's what happened with the switch from 100 years to WML.

I'm not even sure what nametag I'll be wearing come May. I work for DVC and as most of the WDW crowd know, we were recently given new IDs that say Disney Vacation Club instead of WDW and have the DVC logo instead of the Partners statue. We were also supposed to get new nametags with the DVC logo too. Now we're not sure if we're getting those after the 50th Celebration is over, instead of the 50th nametags, or a DVC version of the new tags. If we don't get the new ones, will get lots of questions the first time I do OT in the parks after the new name tags come out, I'm sure.
