Congrats! I've been at my current job coming up on 14 years. Helps when you do something you enjoy!

Got my service pin today! I was in Uptown Jewelers when a few of my managers, my area manager, and a few coordinators come onstage clapping. My homeroom manager says something about how cast have things to celebrate too during "What Will You Celebrate?" and said that it was a special date for one of our cast, that it was my 1 year anniversary with the company. She then gave me my pin and congratulated me.

So embarrassing but a nice thing to do.

When I got off I used a thumbtack to poke the hole in my name tag and put my service pin on.

Shorty82,

After waiting for a year, I do agree waiting a few months to get the service pin is normal.

I believe at the 5 year mark they give you another service pin and a lunch-in. ;)

Well, I got mine today, only a day late. Not bad at all.

At 5 years there's another pin and a breakfast. At 10 you get a pin and a dinner.

Pretty sure they don't do the 5-year breakfast anymore. :(

Haven't had a 5-year breakfast for at least five years; I didn't get one.

Yay Shorty!

WDW is lucky to have you. I hope I'll really get to actually SEE you the next time we visit WDW!

Oh yeah...next trip I definitely hope to at least have lunch with some of the good folks here...would be very, very fun.

Congratulations and I am glad to hear they didn't take long to give you that pin! You've certainly earned it :)

hugs
Bru

Way to go, Shorty. Here's to many more!
