That article also mentions Landrys, which owns Rainforest Cafe and other eateries in San Antonio. Could that possibly affect RFC and T-Rex at WDW?

A mall developer.

Probably. But other than the pain of having another empty storefront, you won't find me shedding many tears.

Laundry's Restaurants, IMO, are overpriced and overrated.

If the parks are any good, there might be local investors who are interested.

Other than that, local governments could always raze them and put in a nice green park.

Rumor is that Six Flags Magic Mountain owes a lot of money from loans that are now due......Don't know how much longer we'll see them around. :(

Can Knott's be far behind? Because the way that dump is so poorly managed, with maintenence almost non-existant, I'll be surprised if it lasts much longer. Oh, wait, the gangbangers would probably buy it--so many of them hang out there.

It wouldn't just be Knott's,it would also be all the other parks in the Cedar Fair and former Paramount Parks system.
I think we (Knott's) are doing OK. A lot of problems IMO stem from corporate in Ohio. They are very slow to adapt and it's hurting us.

I figured the death knell was coming soon when that girl who got her feet cut off at Kentucky Kingdom settled for a ridiculously small amount. Her lawyer probably advised her that something was better than nothing at all although I remember thinking that the amount wasn't nearly what she should have gotten when some old bimbo gets millions for coffee burns in the crotch.
