They don't read, that's the problem.edua87 wrote:we get it in tomorrowland too, we get guests asking if the free pin is at Merchant of Venus, i direct them to uptown jewlers. Do they forget to read when they come in?
Had one guest try to use a two or three day old coupon yesterday. Claimed the pin wasn't available at DAK. I pointed out to her on the back right where it lists the shops you can get the in from, including the Island Mercantile at DAK.
Also had another guest who tried using an expired coupon and used the excuse "I'm supposed to read the parking pass?" I wanted to tell her, "well, yeah, it's a good idea to read everything you're given so you know what's going on and what to do."

I wouldn't say it was felt by everyone. I felt nothing, I only knew that a quake had happened because I had a radio and heard attractions going 101 for seismic activity.turkeyham wrote:Hey Shorty82,
It could be worst. We just had a moderate earthquake out here. 4.5 and it was felt all over. I was here IM my friends when the quake shook. I freaked out and ran out of my place. The last thing you want to do when wearing socks for safety. A big silent boom finshed after the quake.![]()

Last night, was Fantasmic canceled? Last time I went in July 2008 there was a good one that caused a rippling effect. My sister and I walked quickly away from the Golden Horse Shoe. After we got out of that area all locations were being evacuated. We did sit down because all locations were closed for almost 3 hours. I also heard from the July earthquake that all park comunications were down for roughly 2 hours. My cell phone did not work either.

Last night I was on my computer as usual, and I had just navigated away from the USGS site and was on Weather Channel's site when I felt like a bubble was rising beneath my chair, there was a bit of rattling, and mom and I were saying, "Was that a quake?" So I waited a few minutes, went back to the USGS site, and there was a huge red square (used to mark quakes that have occurred within the past hour); initial magnitude was 5.0, then downgraded to 4.5. There was an aftershock of 3.3; I might have felt a minor movement, again under my chair. Also during the main shock my computer monitor wobbled a bit. But I posted a report on the USGS site anyway.

I was on the computer too. I was on IM with a friend from Benton Harbor. I heard the condo complex rumble and there was a loud silent boom. I went outside, bad me! I saw the water in the pool and spa ripple. I looked into the rec room and saw the board members coming out from under the tables. My friends who worked at the local Ralph's were working and they were scared too. They had no damage, but rattled nerves.

A silent boom, dude.. Have you seen the space shuttle land? It makes a double silent boom. This quake made a loud silent boom. It was loud! I thought my neighbors were dropping a refrigerator in their living room. Or if you drop a large pumpkin down a parking structure, you would get the same loud sound. We had one of these quakes back in early November too. I guess you feel the jolt and hear the alarm go off saying get under something safe. Because in a few seconds, you will be saying "Oh-S@&t!
I said that too.

I think you mean sonic boom, not silent boom.turkeyham wrote:A silent boom, dude.. Have you seen the space shuttle land? It makes a double silent boom. This quake made a loud silent boom.
