Maybe the logo for "Home on the Range"? (Disney never did promote that one.)

The balloons were originally round and unmarked. Then for a brief time they were round with "Disneyland" printed on them.Elena (aka: Bubble Lady) wrote:hmmmm, the classic look of a mickey mouse balloon was very close to the mickey head in a mylar balloon if i can correctly remember the one time our dad got us each one...but it was made out of the same stuff as the balloon...but if i'm not remembering correctly i know who probably will be able to...
zazu...was it just the mickey head or was it inside another balloon?
Sorry, but WDW CMs didn't get special training for YoaMD at DU or any other place. It just showed up, and those of us who cared read about it on the Hub or in Eyes & Ears.glendalais wrote:All DLR and WDW CMs will be scheduled training at their respective Disney Universities, in order to acclimate themselves to this new promotion, much like what happened when the Year of a Million Dreams first started.
I don't know, I'm just going from what Jay Rasulo said in an interview with the OC Register last week:Zazu wrote:Sorry, but WDW CMs didn't get special training for YoaMD at DU or any other place. It just showed up, and those of us who cared read about it on the Hub or in Eyes & Ears.
Special training for a promotion? Maybe if somebody else is paying for it (like last week)!

A: First of all, historically, most of our celebrations have focused on Disney milestones. This is a celebration that focuses on milestones in our guests’ lives.
Secondly, this is a program that will be noticeable the second you come into the park. There will be banners — “Celebrate today” — that will kind of give the guests a whole festive sense of arrival. Cast members will also receive special training. There will be parade stops when they call out “everybody who’s celebrating a birthday, come into the parade,” and other entertainment events.

I must have been gone that day. ;) Don't think "training" was park wide - if any at all. Though we were told how to give out those 2 Tink pins, if we could ever find.glendalais wrote:I do remember hearing that when the YoaMD first started, they scheduled every DLR CM for a class in which they basically played the promotional video (this one) and talked about some of the stuff that was coming to the DLR.

I'll be sure to check what my schedule says when the new one comes out Sunday.glendalais wrote:Just a heads up. I don't know about WDW, but most to all DLR CMs (at least the Hourly, Frontline Ops variety) have been scheduled for "What Will You Celebrate?" Training Classes at Disney University (I assume) on the new schedule for the week ending 8 November.
It appears as a class entitled, of course, "What Will You Celebrate?".
