It was a public place and a convention where we should show some descency. Down on the beach show your nipples but it was a convention. I was raised for people not to show their nipples through clothes. I was taught to not show my bra strap or undies. I find it wrong to show off nipple or genetelia in a public place that is family oriented or like in a convention. I am old fashioned I guess.

I would wear spandex if you paid me, desperate for money so me taking money to put on spandex.

If it moves and it shouldn't use duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should use WD40.

As a former (hate to admit it :rolleyes :) SG, I appreciate the heads up
on how I can be a better guest.
Our coming to this website has certainly been an eye opener.
Now our pet peeve is; adults who think that they have exclusive rights to all the fun Disneyland has to offer (such as jumping in front of children who have been waiting for the parade or stepping in front of them when they are trying to purchase a item)all because they are bigger?

My pet peeve is families with kids who jump in front of us after we have waited for an hour or more for a show, parade or getting a pic with a character. I have been line jumped for the characters by parents who think their kid is more important than me when I have waited in line just like everyone else. They tell me I am too old to be meeting the characters or that I should wait behind EVERY child, that the children should have first dibs on the time that the character has. Huh? That would put me at the end of the line constantly while I allowed EVERY child to go before me.

If I do manage to get up to the character and some family comes after and they are told the character is leaving the parents give me the evil eye, some even telling me that I should have allowed their child to take my place! Huh?

When we have been waiting on the curb for over an hour for a parade they shove their kids in front of us, sitting on our feet, then tell us we should ashamed of ourselves for sitting on the curb, as "Disney is for the kids" Oh and then they try to join their kids down in front of us. I don't mind little ones being placed in front of us, IF the parents ask first, but the parents are NOT going to join them in front of us, while we have waited patiently for a long time to get a great viewing spot.

The kids and adults argument goes both ways.

Another pet peeve, when I was on an ECV and healthy people STOOD in front of the ECV and wheelchairs in the disabled section to watch the parade at the front and the CMs did NOTHING to stop it.

People who whisper and stare at you when you are on an ECV. One family was so bold as to sit at their table and turn all the way around to stare right at me for minutes and were whispering to one another about me. If I would have thought about it at the time, I should have rolled over to them and ask them what their problem was. That is just plain rude.

I have more...I have to think about them. I mostly have good things about the Parks, not peeves, but everyone has something that peeves them when on a Disney trip, like people stopping in the walkways for no other reason then to read a map or have a conversation about where to go next! Take it to the side of the road, people!
Parents who do not take their kids back to the resort for a nap orfood, when the kid is tired and hungry and has sensory overload and you hear dad exclaim, "I spent a LOT of money for us to come here, so you are going to enjoy yourself, dammit! Stop crying and have fun!!!" Right.

I will be in Orlando starting tomorrow night. My sister and I will have to write down SG and whatthey do.

What gets me is, when there is a napkin dispencer on the counter. If you have some ice cream, grab about 3 napkins. I have seen people grab about 20 napkins.

They most be very messy or they are bringing it home for their next dinner party.

Ohh, I have a related peeve - people in restrooms who, after they have barely moistened their hands, take about a yard of paper towels from the dispenser. It's like they don't believe in the absorbency power of paper towels, and you need at least a foot per drop of water.

When I worked at Del Taco, we were trained to give out napkins. Lets say they had 5 food items. I napkine for each item plus 2 extras. 7 total.
I wish Disney would have napkin dispencers that would give out 3 to 5 only. It would be good,

Also, why is it when I go pass a turkey cart these SG are asking for plastic bags? At Disneyland the legs are wrapped in wax paper and a foil bag. Plastic bags are being removed from super markets soon. I think it would add up to more trash in the trash can.

Princess Susi, you are correct and I  to your knowledge of SGs and their tricks. You also know this board and I had been an unintentional :) SG who wised up after finding this site. Let me explain, I was trying to shorten up two incidences that happened around us while we were at Disneyland. Watching it happen to 2 small children 4~5 years old and seeing them cry, was just...sad and made DH  . We as quests though helped and my DH
had the mother and daughter laughing by the time the parade was over.
Never mean to offend, we both like this site.
