We are going to the Sept 19 MNSSHP. Hope to see some of you there.

The party on Halloween is sold out. Sorry to break the bad news about that.

No but I've seen the dates posted in a few places around backstage so they should be on there.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…

I have ideas brewing in my head for costumes. I adore costumes and dressing up, but I don't exactly know what I wanna be. I'd love to reuse this purple dress I bought when I was in my friend's wedding and be some sort of generic princess, but it all seems so plain. So redone.

I also like the idea of being an 80's Pop Star and go to the princess salon as I have always said that rainbow of the colored hair extensions at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique had 80's George Micheal/Cyndi Lauper-ish overtones.

When I asked a friend about ideas, she said I should go as the Mortons salt girl, where all I'll need is just some yellow rain gear and a box of salt.

I also have this gothic ladybug dress and wings that got quite a few complements when I wore it last.

If all else fails, I have two Jasmine costumes and a Belle dress.

Still thinking and have a month or so to decide ...

You have more ideas than me. I'd love to get my hands on a costume like the one Prince Phillip wears in the pre-parade celebrating the 50th anniversary release of Sleeping Beauty (coming up next month I believe) but I don't see that happening.

Here's a picture of the costume I'm talking about (or at least a very similar one)

Try taking a look up equestrian wear on ebay to get those boots for cheap. As for the tunic, that might be hard but try a medieval shop for such a thing. I also know a girl that does makes custom requests of you really want it exact. The hat, I'd say try one of the many costume shops that will be open in the area when Halloween grows nearer.

Anyone know how to make a swan costume? (Yet another costume idea.)

And no, I'm not talking about Bjork's infamous award show dress ...

I hope you wear something under the tunic, lol. Ebay and riding stores have some great boots.

I'm not suprised its sold out. Guess Ill just stick to the original plan, EPCOT and the food and beer festival. If anyone wants to meet up on the 31st to sample food and beer from around the world let me know, I'm planning on starting near Canada around 1 or 2.
