SG in training....
Ok.. so on monday.. the wife and I celebrated our 1 year wedding aniv. at Studios... twords the end of our day we had to decide which to do.. one last time at the Adv. Club or go and wait in line for TSM... so I decided to flip a coin and have the wife call it in the air....
As i am getting ready for the flip to start.. a little girl of some sort of forign nationality ( indian i think ) looks at me flip the coin...see's it tumble in the air.. watches it hit the ground and start to roll..... she chases it and grabs it while it is rolling and grabs it... looks at me and then walks off with my penny...
never once did i get to see what side it landed on.... the wife and i laughed very hard at this and SGT came to mind and i knew i had to share.

    Bless your heart. Really, I mean that. I don't think I could handle this as well as you did. I'm glad that they are people like you that have a sense of humor.Doctor McKey wrote:Ok.. so on monday.. the wife and I celebrated our 1 year wedding aniv. at Studios... twords the end of our day we had to decide which to do.. one last time at the Adv. I get it's only a penny but it's the principle of stealing that really gets to me. Well let's be honest, what really bothers me is that several times this week I had people from that nationalization not only be rude to us but downright mean to other guests. What is up with that?

Maybe they were of the Brahmin caste--they're the elite, and think they own everything. The girl was probably told the streets of America were paved with money, and you kinda proved that to her. Or she's just being a typical, opportunistic kid. It was only a penny. I trust you did a redo on the coin toss. After checking to make sure there weren't anymore kids around, I assume. :D:

Hmmmmm......
I'm afraid a lot of kids in my town wouldn't bother themselves over a penny....
Maybe the kid actually appreciates them!
But yeah, most likely just being opportunistic!

Between AC and TSMM, there would be no question for me. TSMM will be there awhile.

Certainly NOT a child from The O C!! Not a teen nor adult either, even if the penny was bright, new, & within reach.DisneyMom wrote:I'm afraid a lot of kids in my town wouldn't bother themselves over a penny.

Maybe she thought she'd have better luck on TSMM? ("See a penny, pick it up; then, all day, you'll have good luck") That is pretty bold, though, snatching it up from almost right under your nose.
