Minor complaint about an amazing ride though!

My absolute favorite ride in DCA. I don't mind the abrupt transitions. I think having Tinkerbell or another Disney character as a guide would ruin the experience.

They could make a 3-D Tinkerbell to fly along with you!!

Easy solution, as I've had the thought before. Fly upward so you can't see the ground, stall and come back down onto a different scene.

I totally agree. Yes, I can make myself overlook the abrupt scene changes, but they really do take away from the realism.

Even a simple cloud effect would do the trick, without any additional photography necessary -- have some clouds blow across the screen as the scene changes behind them.

I guess I'm just so used to the scene cuts that they don't really bother me. I wouldn't mind a smoother transition tho'. I would hate to have a Disney character guide. The beauty of the scenery stands on its own, and adding a cartoon would trivialize it.

As long as they don't take out Eisner's cameo at PGA west, I'm happy. I'll take any opportunity to kick Eisner.

I like Soarin' just how it is, but some subliminal messages for my husband inserted- "You won't fall, you'll be OK" would be helpful.....
Or maybe just some pre-flight RUM, eh, Grumpy? ;)

It could be reminiscent of the old 20,000 Leagues.

Never knew that. Good to know. I'll put force into it next time.

Just make sure your shoe's tied tight!!!

I remember seeing several "lost" shoes when we went in for our adventure!

Soarin': The only ride my DH will go on in DCA! Also, the only ride I've ever been on in which the guests APPLAUD at the end! Woo-hoo!
