Harvey Korman will not be down for breakfast...
So sad to hear that Mr. Harvey Korman of the Carol Burnett Show passed away at the age of 81 (from a brain aneurysm). :(

I was so sad to hear this this morning. :( I LOVED the Carol Burnett Show and he was so funny on that. One of my all time faves was when they did a *re-make* of Gone With The Wind and Carol Burnett made a dress of the curtains with the curtain rod still in them! Harvey played opposite her and could hardly keep a straight face. They all had trouble keeping a straight face on that show, they were all so funny with each other. Hilarious!
I have a set of Carol Burnett Shows and I think I will have to sit down and have some great laughs watching him with Tim Conway and the rest of the gang. What a great guy and a very funny man. His humor will be missed!

OMG! That GWTW drapery dress skit was the funniest thing ever on tv, IMHO! :hysteria:Princess Susi wrote:I was so sad to hear this this morning. :( I LOVED the Carol Burnett Show and he was so funny on that. Actually it's now 5Princess Susi wrote:I forgot to ask, who are the the other two?I can't think right now. Brain fart.
1. Cleavon Little (Sheriff)
2. Madeline Kahn (Lili Von Shtupp)
3. Slim Pickens (Taggart)
4. Liam Dunn (Rev. Johnson)

This morning I heard it was an abdominal aortic aneurysm, not a brain aneurysm. My mom has an AAA--two, actually--and they recently told her that hers had grown but didn't say by how much. Uh-oh....

Madiline Kahn died too... I didn't know that. :(
I'm too young to have seen the Carol Burnett Show, but my grandfather used to show it to my brother and I on VHS tape (because we had a tendancy as children to loose interest in Laural and Hardy pretty fast, them being silent.) I used to love watching those tapes. They don't make shows like that these days in America, at least not that I ever saw. There's the Catherine Tate show, but that's BBC.
Sad to hear that Mr. Korman has passed. It's sad that the entertainment world has lost a valuable jewel in the crown of classic comedy.

I'm sorry your mom has two, I'm sure the doctor is monitoring her frequently with ultrasound.
