Friends of Characters Thank you !

I just want to take the opportunity to thank all the CMs, Character Escorts, Characters, and of course "friends of characters" who went out of their way to make my 4 1/2 year old daughters first visit to WDW the most magic week of her life.

We were at WDW from Jan 26th thru Feb 3, staying at Port Orleans Riverside. From the cashiers at the Riverside mill asking my "princess" for her autograph, to the monorail drivers who allowed us to join them in the cab, my daughter was treated like royalty.

Being 4 years old, my little girl idolizes the princesses. The amount of time each and very princess spent chatting with her had both my wife and I with tears in our eyes almost hourly. At the Pirate and Princess Party, she must have spent 10 minutes chatting with Ariel in the grotto. The two of them laughed and giggled like they were both 4 years old, they even sang together. Even the photopass photographer seemed surprised at how long Ariel spent
visiting with my Daughter. This was repeated over and over, from Cinderella at Toontown to Pocohantas at animal kingdom the next day.

At Epcot we spotted Mulan and Mushu in China. By the time we got to the front of the line it was time for Mulans break. Her escort explained she would be back in 20 minutes, so we elected to wait. Surprise - Mushu did not take a break, he waited with us ! My daughter had Mushu to herself for 20 minutes, he only stepped away for the odd photo or autograph, always coming back to my daughter. Magical ! When Mulan did return a new line had formed, and we
were not in it (we stayed in the old location). Mulan recognized my daughter, off to the side, in the old location. Loud enough for all the new people in line to hear Mulan cried "You waited for Me ! I am so Honored! " and shuffled to get my little girl for her picture and autograph ! She handled this so skillfully ! And made my little girls Day ! A special thank you to Mushus friend !

By talking to the character escort at Morocco, we learned where to wait for Genie, Alladin and Jasmine, the tip we got from this woman helped us catch these 3 before they left for the day. Kudos to the CM who was escorting them. I did not get her name, but it was a nice woman who used an EVC to get around. Thank You Thank You !

Finally Belle and the Beast rounded up the Royal visits at France. The escort handled a pushy crowd with such diplomacy and tact.

Another special thank you to our waiter at Cinderellas Royal Table. My daughters stomach was not agreeing with her, and she was unable to eat a bite at breakfast at the castle. The Waiter handled her with such tact, and then another waitress discreetly brought us a couple small plastic bags, just in case. They were not needed, but having them handy went a long way to making my daughter more at ease. These 2 CMs were angels.

Finally at Ohanna, cousin Patti served us one evening. 3 of 4 kids at our table were exhausted, uninterested in eating, Yet Patti managed to provide something the tired picky eaters enjoyed, while still keeping on top of the adults meals. Bravo Patti !

Thanks to all you CMs. You allow my daughter to believe in magic ! And you kept my wife and I silently weeping all week !
