Bedbugs?????

Post by Princess Susi » Fri Jan 18, 2008 8:52 am

I was reading a thread on another Board that says there is currently an outbreak of Bedbugs in the Orlando area. Has this affected the Resorts at WDW as well? Has anyone heard anything? I know they go in cycles and will die off, but is there a problem there currently with these little creepy-crawlies?

Funny BR! Whats that bug there on your cheek?
I am sure the cycle will run its course, just as the LoveBugs do, if in fact there IS an outbreak of bedbugs. I know it happens from time to time at hotels and they don't have to be seedy motels. They are brought in by a guest and then the infestation begins. They are hard to get rid of as well. I was just curious if anyone had heard of any of the resorts being affected by it. Evidently there is an outbreak in the Orlando area.

We stayed at the Radisson Resort near Port Canaveral the night before our cruise in December, and there were some type of tiny bugs that could be called bed bugs, since they were in the bed. We didn't notice them until the next morning, and they didn't seem to bite and we didn't itch, but it was creepy knowing you'd slept with bugs in the bed!
We reported it to the front desk. Hope they at least sprayed the room.

Can't wait to move and get a good cat infestation. We're thinking three.
