Yeoman Janice Rand Will Not Be Down For Breakfast

Grace Lee Whitney, who played Yeoman Janice Rand on the original Star Trek series, dead at 85.

That leaves William Shatner, Nichelle Nichols, George Takei, Walter Koenig, and (brain fart--Gene Roddenberry's widow) Nurse Christine Chapel.

(That would be Majel Barrett Roddenberry.)

Wow... I'm watching my childhood memories fall one after the other.

Correction--Majel Barrett Rodenberry died in 2008.

Now it's just Capt. Kirk, Lt. Uhura, Lt. Sulu, and Ensign Chekov. DeForest Kelley and James Doohan were the oldest, both born 1920. George Takei is the youngest, born 1937.
