Iconic TV Announcer Don Pardo Dies At 96
Don Pardo, the Voice of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ Dies at 96
Such a recognizable voice! My favorite Don Pardo appearance has to be the spoof of his Jeopardy-announcing days in Weird Al's "I Lost on Jeopardy" parody (referenced by name in the lyrics at 1:50, and appearing beginning at 2:15):

Don Pardo will not be down for breakfast...
Re: Don Pardo will not be down for breakfast...
I love that video--it shows how much Jeopardy! has changed over the years--not to mention Weird Al.
Actually, I thought he passed away some time ago. I guess he makes number three--Robin Williams, (senior brain fart), and now Don Pardo. I might still have a surname meaning book, and Pardo is French in origin; it means "For the love of God", as in an over-used expression by an ancestor. He had a great voice.
