In about an hour and a half Big Wallaby is coming to pick me up to take me to the airport to get my dad. Now to haul a bunch of trash out to the dumpster. I'll post a status update when I can.
I hope you left room for your dad!

Why would I do that?! :)

I left the front seat clear, don't you worry. I did have the car over stuffed and pulled out my large DVD collection at my brother's to be shipped to me later so as to free up some space. We're staying the night at my brother's then hitting the road early tomorrow morning.

Sorry for not updating sooner. We've spent the last few days in Milton, FL, where I'm from originally and still have family. We're planning on hitting the road again in a few hours.

And no flat tires.

Got in safely just a little while ago. We wound up staying in Milton a few days and left Sunday in the early afternoon. We were planning on leaving earlier but didn't make it off that soon. We stopped just north of Nashville for the night before coming the rest of the way up. It is damn cold outside, low 20's right now. My Florida blood doesn't like it. I knew it was cold when I went to take my bike lock off (my bike rode up on a rack on the back of the car) and the cable was stiff instead of flexible like it should be.

Pity that won't be true for other parts....

Glad you got in safely. Stay warm and stay in touch!

Hey Shorty,
We miss you here. I hope you are doing well. Black is bad. Looks like water, but is bad when you hit it.
I use to live in Oregon and went to the mountains with my folks. Our car did skid off the road, but no damage was done.
Keep warm, because the weather that we have out here in CA is going to be crazy tomorrow. There is to be 18 inches of snow in the mountains.
