New here but hopefully not a SG

Post by NotASG » Sat Oct 13, 2012 9:35 pm

Hi,
I am a longtime reader but first time poster. I just returned from another great trip to WDW and really appreciate all that CMs do to make guests feel special (I can only imagine what you have to put up with).

Anyway, on to my SG story. A couple of days ago I was in line at POFQ for my morning beignets. As I was waiting another guest came up to order hers. There was nothing wrong with the CM making the beignets---she was polite and professional and took the SG's order. Apparently she wasn't enthusiastic enough for this lady who turns to me and says very loudly, "Well!, Someone isn't having a very magical day!"

I did not say anything to the SG but I am aware I have a very expressive face which must have conveyed what I was thinking which was: "Jeeeeez you idiot, maybe getting up at the crack of dawn to stand over a hot vat of oil making beignets for dummies like you doesn't warrant her whistling zip-a-dee-f%#$%-doo-dah out of her rear end like you seem to think it should".

I don't know how the SG interpreted my facial expression but I do know when I got to my room and opened my beignet box, there were 3 extra inside. :D:

The ones at POFQ are better than those served in New Orleans. They're also served with less attitude.

Even better! I gotta find a bakery that's open on Sunday.

Greetings NotASG, I am the resident dragon and would like to offer you a very warm* welcome to that slice of the internet we call SGT. Attitude never bothered me, I literally don't pay any extra for bad attitude. Their loss! In New Orleans I didn't notice any attitude problems, what I did notice was a rest room that would have made a sanitation inspector throw him/herself into the Mississippi. :gross:
