Looking for some help

Post by Jinxed » Wed Jun 13, 2012 3:31 pm

The family is holding its reunion this year in Disney World. I would like to apologize in advance for all the SG things they will do and I promise they will. lol

My job is to set up the scavenger hunt and I am looking to you guys to help me with it. :D:

The hunt will only be held in the Magic Kingdom as some of the families have small kids and can't be running from park to park. I am looking for questions or quests that won't be found online (the family is full of cheaters).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are one of the first ones to enter the Magic Kingdom for the day, run to Tom Sawyer's island and have your family look for the paint brushes they have hidden on the island. You can also have the family go to the Firehouse in the town square and join the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game. These are two activities that come to mind real quick.

Didn't I read that the paintbrushes were no longer being hidden as of this spring ?

You could ask what size rail is used on the WDW Railroad. The correct answer is 40 pounds per yard, and that's something the Conductors are supposed to know.

How about the name of the wooden leg in the Frontierland Train Station?

Oh this is good! And what is the name of the wooden leg?

I do have some simple ones for the families with small kids..ex:

Bring back a drivers license

Where in the Magic Kingdom can you find a dole whip

Get a stranger to buy you a lollipop

Take a picture of a ride operator up in the glass booth.

Does anyone know if any of the Magic Kingdom Security have "fun" tickets they can hand out. My sister in law got a really cute one for being pushy with her kids. But she can't remember if it was in H.S. or M.K.

The wooden leg is named Smith. (from the joke in Mary Poppins)

How about having them count the tiki statues in Adventureland.

What is the "address" for Pecos Bill's?

Who provides the dynamite over at the Big Thunder Mine?

What do the blocks spell in the nursery at the beginning of the Peter Pan ride.

Take a photo with an animal character.

I just saw that there's a new photo opportunity over at the haunted mansion. You stand behind these tombstones and your head becomes the bust on the top. That might be a cool item on your list

What does Pluto's dogtag say?

I wasn't aware of this. They could also ask for a free button outside of City Hall and have them write in what they are celebrating that day.
