At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Finally caught up on reading, at least I think I am. The first week of January we flew to NY and CT to see family. We managed to squeeze in trip to the Museum of Natural History while we were there and walk down 42nd street to Times Square. It was lovely and a little scary as I have only been to NY city once and my husband had never been. My MIL wanted to stay in the room with us at the Residence Inn instead of with family as arranged. I kindly had to remind her that she did want more grandchildren. Then we flew back and the next day we were off to Swainsboro, GA, to see my relatives. While there we made a trip to Savannah and visited Fort Pulaski. We joined a tour and I have to say listening to the Ranger made the history come alive for me. Now we have been home for 3 weeks but catchup hasn't been easy. Work has been crazy too. Now to plan our next Disney trip. Anniversary coming up in April!

Sounds like you've been a very busy Goddess. So when will you be at WDW? My sister and I are also crazy cat ladies and are planning a late April trip.
