Harriers?

Maybe not.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Haha without a line the airstrip at WDW is a bit short. I figured they would be out of Cocoa beach, much easier to secure the jets.

I have to say the video left me in tears and cheering the USA. Thanks to all who pulled it off. :usflag:

I worked that day so missed the retreat but the jets also flew over DAK just as I was walking out of guest bag check. Would have scared me a bit if I hadn't happen to have heard there was going to be a fly over that day. Most everybody around had no idea what was going on, not even Security.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

I think they could make it if they moved the trailers out of the way. Now, as far as security, I am not sure how they would block off STOLPort...

Wait. That would look REALLY COOL. Light them up the way they do Air Force One when it goes into a destination airport... it would be an awesome picture as Monorail Blue passes by (assuming you lit Blue the same way as the planes).

I still say they could make it. If a 747 landed at McMinnville Airport (KMMV for any pilots following along who want to see the runway length) then they could certainly land some military jets at STOLPort... Like that 747 (which I have been inside now and you can too), the take-off might be impossible...

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

I do appreciate it. WDW Flag Retreat at least honors veterans with our U S Flag. I give WDW great credit. Wish Left Coast could do the same.
Know you and other fine people will keep fighting the good fight :)
Glad your Shuttle Experience won't keep you down, but I can't imagine anything being a permanent obstacle. You are a very tough lady, and this is said with greatest admiration.

I knew a guy who went to fly for Evergreen. Going from a falcon 20 to a 747.
