I went to the Magic Kingdom today for the re-opening of the Enchanted Tiki Room. As I was coming down the monorail exit ramp there were several groups of people jumping over the "security" gate. I just laughed and took some pictures with my cell phone.
I don't think security even noticed this going on.

Is the point of this fence to prevent people from avoiding the security bag check?
If not then what is the point?

That's exactly the point.MouseKiss wrote:Is the point of this fence to prevent people from avoiding the security bag check?

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

The best part is that a group (similar in size to the one) had just finished jumping the fence and gone under the ropes. I guess they don't know what fences and roped off areas are for. Most just came up the Resorts Monorail ramp and think they need to be on the Express Monorail side. You can tell them that both monorails go to the same exact place until you are blue in the face and they still don't get it. It doesn't matter if you are a CM or a security guard, they still will want to jump the fence. It's only a matter of time until someone gets hurt and they sue.

And generally, the plainclothes security guy calls normal security and they get a nice talking to.MouseKiss wrote:Is the point of this fence to prevent people from avoiding the security bag check?
