Glad you enjoyed the ride, and it was a pleasure meeting you as well. The guests seemed bored for most of the day yesterday, I'm not quite sure why, but I'll blame the heat.

Unfortunately, for those trying to show request me, KSR is not my statused location, and I'm only there when there's a shift available on the extra hours hotline that matches my availability ... usually ends up being about once every 2 months.

Interesting day. First half of the day, I was in a bus where the MiMs wasn't working well at all. Oh, woe is me! Darn it! I guess I'll just have to do the *talking* myself. It was a great little reprieve, a momentary return to the days in which I loved driving a bus for Disney. Then, it was time for my break, and it was over.

In the second bus, there was no microphone, and the safety spiels didn't go off going out of Epcot Since I was driving at close, that's when they're important. However, I dealt with it, it wasn't worth getting my knickers in a bunch.

The sad part was when I had a young boy who had been on my bus earlier in the day and remembered me and asked me to do my show. I hated explaining to him that I didn't have a microphone and so I couldn't do it.

I can't wait to get out of buses. :(

You need Mr. Microphone!

Or one of those bullhorns with a detachable mic. Maybe you could even replace the mic with a headset mike so you would have the excuse you are practicing for the KSR. :D: Then you just hang the horn from your sholder facing back, or hang it over the back of the seat facing back. Then it won't matter if the bus does not have a mic. ;)

I'm always full of .....ideas..... yea THAT's it. (snicker)

My response to the bus with no spiels and no microphone is ......

Zone 3 from 4756... This bus has a malfunctioning MiM's and no microphone, I'm going to FIW for one or the other. This is a safety issue.

I have done it before and will do it again.

Take lessons from Wombat on how to project and breathe properly while spieling. Any good singer can help you but start with a really cute and good singer first.

I thought for sure you would be able to project your voice to the the rear of the bus behind you. Wait that would be me.

Fine, I'll come down and do the safety spiel and show from just behind the red line. I'll need a room and tickets for two adults, my daughter is 2 so she is free. Airfare for all 3 of us, just charge it to transportation!

It all works very nicely, until I go Signal 72.

Wait, I'm confused. You want him to take lessons from me, but then you say he should start with a "good and cute" singer. Make up your mind! :D: (Just beating the rest of you to the joke! )
