I wonder what they would charge to just get that bowl?
I think it would make a good breakfast bowl.
The Kitchen Sink
Re: The Kitchen Sink
8 scoops of ice cream, every topping in the house, and a whole can of whipped cream.
Audience: A whole can?!?!
Actually had this happen in one of my DU classes once ... the instructors were teaching us how to read hotel folios, and one charge was from Beaches & Cream for about $26. Instructor commented that they probably had the Kitchen Sink, and one of the newbies in the class responded with "what's a kitchen sink?" Instructor gives the standard speil (see first sentence of this reply), and 4 other people in the class (all transfers) all respond with "A whole can?!?!"

We would order it, but our family all dislike the fake whipped cream. So instead we get the No Way Jose, made without whipped cream. It is fabulous !

Re: The Kitchen Sink
An ice cream place where I grew up had the same sort of dish -- even the same name. During High School we were there and a table of 4 girls challenged our table to a race to finish one off. Only one guy at our table would take them up on it, so he went head-to-head with these 4 girls. Finished the whole thing before them. Strutted out of the restaurant and proceeded to collapse against the care. Had a stomache ache for hours, but fortunately held back the technicolor yawn. He had serious competitiveness issues. :p:

If we are going to talk about memorable sundaes, then we must include The Zoo, from Farrell's. So big, they carried it out on a stretcher! Never got one, myself, but I still remember the fanfare that happened if some group did order it.

How about the Ziggy Pig from Bill and Teds?
