Felinefan, do you know anything about Islam, beyond what you read in forwarded hate emails? If you did, you would know that Islam is an offshoot of Judaism and Christianity. Indeed, among the most notable prophets of Islam other than Mohammed are the prophets Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. That's right. JESUS. The Q'ran is derived from the Bible and the Torah. After reading articles prior, & one in the brkrm yesterday, now this O C Register, I swear Imane Boudlal was in one of my stores last Sat. or Sun. Know it wasn't Mon. I recognize the name because I had to ask for her I D as the transaction was well over $50.00. She purchased very nice men's clothes & I think a few children's items. We spoke a bit after I read her name. The last name was not typical thus stayed in my mind. Odd thing as I think of helping her...she was familiar with DL but she didn't use a Cast I D for discount nor was she wearing a headscarf. The pix in O C Register does look like the guest I had. Odd. Who knows?

Might want to let management know, and write a witness statement. If nothing else, at least they can try to pull the security tapes from that day. I would think that video evidence that she does not wear the headscarf on a daily basis would probably do quite a bit to make her lawyer and the press suddenly lose interest in this.

I know I'm still rather new here, and I don't want to sound like I'm trying to be a moderator. However, I believe we should limit our comments to the matter at hand: the fact that this woman claims that Disney is unfairly interfering with her wearing a piece of head-wear that supposedly require by her religious beliefs. I don't think it is appropriate to start making insulting comments regarding the woman's stated religion in general.
