Better Performance
Over the last few days I've noticed a better response time on the SGT site. Either Polar finally got the hosting company to improve their equipment or someone blew the cockroaches out of the pipe between here and the Mainland. Whatever it was, mahalo!!

Re: Better Performance
The errors I was seeing was not pointing to a bandwidth issue, but rather a host issue. If Verizon give me more bandwidth on the upload side of things I'd be able to put in a box and host websites from there (I am business class, so it's okay). I currently host my websites with a subsidiary of ours.

What are your upgrade plans if I can inquire, geek to geek :)Polar33 wrote:Unfortunately, it wasn't me.
Hopefully the performance will keep up long enough for me to complete my upgrade plans.

You can practice on my board if you want, Polar. Good luck with the upgrades. Just do not add an arcade as that has messed me up big time because I am now in the arcade at a friend's site.
Chat would be good for new features.
I was getting so many white pages that I was about to toss my computer out the door.

Upgrade plans are considerably less exciting. I need to perform routine vBulletin software upgrades, but in order to do so I need to switch hosts as our current host doesn't (and has no desire to) meet the system requirements of the upgrade.
