Not familiar with her... any relation to Ray Liota? ;)

After using it to much:

"Have a magical day!" = "Screw you!"

This looks like a good line.

One time I had a boss (2nd level supervisor) who was leaving to move to another agency. When she first came to our agency she was nice to everybody, by the time she left we were happy to have her leave.

On the oversize going away card I wrote: "May your times at your new job be as interesting as the times you have had here".

I had mentioned it to several people in the office, and others had seen it on the card. Several of them, especially those of oriental descent, asked me if I knew what I had written! The answer was, "of course".

The secret is there is an old Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times". They would have preferred a plain, dull, life.

Yeah, I've told quite a few people that by now.
"Have a MAGICAL day. "

Yup, I've had to say it frequently as well.

Quite frankly, I hate being required to repeat a cheesy phrase (you wouldn't catch me dead at the toll booths saying, "welcome home!"), so if someone were to hear me utter the words, "have a magical day" you can bet it's because someone was being a passhole to me and that was code for blowing them off. However, I'm going to have to remember the Chinese connotation to the word "interesting." Hee.

The corniest thing that I heard a rep say, I was Quality Assurance in a call center, was "Thank you for calling T-Mobile and a have a T-Mobile-rriffic day" :ewww: We all hated to listen to this girl's calls. We would argue as to had to listen to her.

When someone tells me, "Have a magical day," I figure I'll see someone pull a rabbit out of a hat.

If you ever see/ or have a CM make any type of hand gestures as they say "Have a Magical day!", you'll have a reason to be paranoid. But, you probably deserved it..lol...Let me explain- My best friend is a CM at MK, Pirates, and she has it down perfectly to sign the phrase "eat sh** and die" as she says "Have a magical day" with the most Disney smile plastered on her face. I love it! To my knowledge, she hasnt used it yet but promises to when the right Guest is near. ;)
