Timber Mountain Log Ride and Calcio Mine Ride are still open even though they're set up for Haunt, they just cover all the stuff up. And about the day to go, I went Oct 4th last Haunt (Friday)....NOBODY there. I was freakin lucky. But usually you'll want to aim for Thurs or Sunday.

My best answer would be any Thursday night, but usually the first Thursday is a little bit lighter crowd. Definately don't go on a Friday or Saturday, you'll feel like you're standing in one long line all night.

As far as rides, it's like Freak said. They run the log ride and mine ride, but for the most part the Haunt decorations are covered up during the day. Of course, that's no reason not to go during the day. If you want to ride rides, you're better off going during the day or at least going for one of the pre-scare packages so you don't waste an hour or two of Haunt time waiting in line for Ghostrider (that line is always long, even on Thursday nights).

^Thats one thing that pisses me off. You go to Haunt, yet you go wait 2+ hours to ride something you can whenever you want. Whenever I go to Haunt (2-4 times a year), I never go near anything. Last year everyone wanted to ride Xcel last year. God, its HAUNT for pete's sake. Go ride the coasters when its normal season.

Haunt is the only time I ever go to Knott's, so that is when I rode Xcelerator. Kicked ass too.

^See but that's okay though, you only go during Haunt. People that go more than just Haunt and ride coasters...No. Haunt is for getting scared (or scaring people :twisted :) . Thats my opinion though. I don't get people who go to Haunt for coasters ONLY.

heh Haunt. I'm working that this year. We're having it on Wednesdays now, good ol' five days a week. But Wednesdays will be discounted, with all shows dark except for The Hanging

Justinsane are you working it this year?

Oh I'll probably use Wed. more than I should for Haunt this year. I doubt it's going to be that crowded, but I'll buy my first set of tickets for a Wed, and see how it is. If it's like I think it is, I'll probably hit Wed. more often tha I should. How I love Haunt....The only thing I probably won't hit is that Temple Of Sacrifice....its like promotion for Jaguar.....Plus I heard most rookie talent is in there. They're gonna get beat up....Hence the "maze" name...haha.
