On opening day at the Animal Kingdom I was doing Greeter/Height Check at Countdown to Extinction (AKA Dinosaur). A man and his son approached and I polietly asked to measure his child. Unfortunately, his son didn;t meet the (then) 46 inch heigh requirement. THe father goes nuts yelling and carrying on about I measured him wrong (He was at least a foot short) and told me his son was tall enoughlast yearto ride.
I calmly replied "Why that may be true last year when this was still The Pile of Dirt Ride, but that attraction was demolished to make way for this ride and he isnt tall enough. Then I proceeded to take his Animal Kingdom park map out of his hand and clearly pointed out the words "Opening Day" on it. ANd with the smile of Death said 'Have a Wild Day" :)

Not quite on-topic, but similar.

Today, everyone seemed to think we had another parade at the ol' DLR after the second one.

What, are we bringing back the MAIN STREET Electrical Parade, and I was not informed?

....not to mention that today was a pretty nasty day for parade control.

I'm sure daddy had his son swimming in the "themed pool" in front of CTX last year too.....

My wife opened CTX and I Mission:SPACE we always loved the "last year" remarks..... stupid is as stupid does sir.
