Damn guys, he was one of my favorite actors because of him playing Lumiere.
According to the report he died after weeks of treatment for Prostate Cancer.
He had just finish filming Law and Order's next installment in the franchise which is set to premier next year.

Very sad. He hadn't been ill too long. I never knew Jerry was such a huge Broadway star until CNN showed a few clips. He was multi talented! Broadway lights went dark last night as a tribute. Says a lot for Jerry Orbach.

sad, just plain sad. We lost a lot of good Disney folks this year. Did you guys see David Koenig's article Fond Farewells over at MousePlanet? He mentions some of the historic contributors to the Disney Magic we've lost this year.
