I am not a CM, but can I say you guys do a great job dealing with those 'Stupid Guests'. This is a great site, I look forward to reading anytime I get a chance.
:?: On to my question: My partner and I will be coming to the US from Australia in July 2005. While we will be splitting up (one to Seattle and the other to New York), I was thinking about a few days at DLR around July 10 to 15, before we go our separate ways. Firstly, are we insane for considering coming to DLR in July and if not will the Disneyland 50th Anniversary "special event" give reason to run in the opposite direction?
I know this isn't a travel forum, but you guys work for the mouse and seem to have a good idea what is going on. If you cant trust the guys that have access to the e-stop, then who can you trust?
We have been to DLR before (early January) so looking for some honest ideas on what we should expect during the summer.
What to expect in July 2005?

redfraggle, thanks for your positive comments. Love those. As far as visiting DLR in July, come on out to our huge 50th party. DLR is always "insane" during July but this year all will be much more fun. Crowds might not be as bad as you think. Understand lines will be long! Some of the events planned and sights you'll see will only be held July 05. A party like DLR's 50th birthday is a once in a life time event. Come join us!

I heard it's going to be September.
During July, I assume will be busy as hell since this is a big celebration for us. Yes, understand there will be LONG line, probably anout 1 hour or 2.

Yeah I know people on the test and adjust crew and they are scheduled to over there like at either the end of Jan or Feb (I think...)GMC wrote:well test and adjust is one the case right now, and buzz will be open by then, at the very least. I think space might be ready sooner than they're letting on. don't say anything tho, keep it in this thread only.

Thanks guys!
Well, I am convinced, I will be there. Still no confirmation on my partner traveling with me, I may be alone, but from the sounds of it there will be new friends to be made at every turn.
I hope to see a few of you and thank you in person.
