Dear Housekeeping...

Post by DonutGoddess » Sun Mar 31, 2013 12:55 am

Dear Housekeeping,

Nothing says welcome like a *hit stain on a duvet cover placed on a new guests bed. And then rather than changing said duvet cover you simply deliver a new one and leave it for the guest to change themselves. How nice! Thanks!

Stayed at the Penny Sleeper once. The two drunks in the next room had their TV blasting all night. After that it was either Residence Inn or a Disney property.

and all the kids get up way before the parks open and run around screaming all morning up and down the halls.
And that free continental breakfast? donuts juice and cereal. you have to be there when they open the doors, or it's like a picture of the locusts devastating a farm.

next time it's the hojo for me or the ramada frontgate.

DisneyMom will flog me for not mentioning the Candy Cane Inn. Reasonable rates, well stocked continental breakfast and very nice, clean rooms. Decent Wi-Fi too. I would recommend the CCI to everyone.

Two things:
  • It wasn't fresh, was it? (If so... someone has some 'splainin' to do.)
  • Did this place have hourly rates listed?
I can't fathom how something like that falls below someone's radar screen.

While I can't say a word against the Candy Cane Inn (never having been able to book a reservation there), I have recently been staying at the Stovall's Best Western. Cheap, but close and quiet.

Not gonna be confused with the Grand Cal though.
