I actually like snakes and have held non-venomous ones. My Mom was not tolerant of them and killed a sidewinder and another rattlesnake when we stayed at Joshua Tree, CA. I had nearly stepped on the sidewinder. She decapitated it with a shovel, skinned it and tacked the skin on a board to dry. Gotta respect a tough Mama! I would have said Goodbye to my GoPro if it fell in with that many Rattlesnakes.
