Monorail History

Post by drcorey » Thu May 29, 2014 3:42 pm

I read that Ride & Show Engineering made the mark V trains.
What series did the Canadian company make?
also, why don't they still use Ride & Show Engineering?
also read the mark III's were the base for the mark V's

Hmmm, am confused by your post.

Where did you read that information? Then you jump to a Canadian firm....and how is that connected? Then, why do you think that R&S do not have anything to do about the monorails now?

This page at monorails.org makes it sound like WDI did the designing and Bombardier did the manufacturing.

The east coast trains are all Bombardier. Same as SunRail, though a slightly different design.

It doesn't surprise me that the DL trains are R&S. It's interesting how much more you have to know about the WDW trains and the system to drive.
