Roger Ebert will not be down for breakfast

Post by bookbabe » Thu Apr 04, 2013 3:49 pm

Roger Ebert, one of the great film critics of all time, lost his battle with cancer today at the age of 70.

Two thumbs down. :(

Didn't always agree with his politics, but usually agreed with his movie reviews. Go figure. In any case, a nice man -- actually wrote back to me in the early days of email. RIP Mr. Ebert.

The Siskel and Ebert show was a staple in my house for years. I used to have a book of Roger Ebert's movie reviews and they were some of the most eloquent reviews I have ever read.

Two thumbs down. WAY DOWN :(
