Those waves look awesome! I've been talking to mrs. ktulu about taking a trip back to Oahu to check out north shore and pipeline beach during the winter months. I'd love to see those big waves in person!

The whales have finally started to return. We didn't see many but this guy let us know he was happy to be back.

We see all types of boats on the water during whale season. Kayaks, SUPs, power and sail boats and tour boats. Once in a while one of these guys joins in.

They're kinda standoffish. If you get within a 200 yard radius your boat speed must be at idle. If you get inside of 100 yards you're fair game.
