Thank you Moderators

Post by Driver_dylan » Thu Nov 16, 2006 10:46 pm

I just wanted to extend a thank you for being on top of that situation. Many other forums are not so lucky.
Sorry for the ember, in any case. :aliens:

You guys are really on top of things. I've been on a couple of "official" ABC boards for t.v. shows I like, and the psycho posters seem to always be around as well as multiples of horrid threads from the same trolls. It's gratifying to be on a board where the problem children are dealt with accordingly.

I probably had something to do with the excessive flames, as I don't hesitate to state my opinion on something that I feel strongly over, but at least my posts didn't degenerate into infantile repetition. So my apologies to everyone here for any part I may have had in contributing to the HM problem.

Just remember to use that repot post link. It will go straight to Polar and my cell phones so we can take care of things asap.

inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

OMG.
I had _no_ idea that reported posts resulted in a page to people's cells.

I've reported "spam" posts at all hours of the night (insomniac/debilitating pain), I just thought you would get an *email*.

I will be MUCH more careful (and sincerely wish someone had PM'd me to tell me I was being inappropriate).

I almost sent this post as a PM to the moderators, but thought that (slim chance, but still) someone else might've made the same mistake I did, and could therefore use this information.

Thank you, all of you, for this amazing set of boards.
Goodnight!

Not to worry, we don't use that system any more, and neither CujuSR nor Polar are still with us. Please do keep reporting inappropriate posts using the report system at whatever hour you notice them. Besides, some of us are night-owl's too!

Or night-red-billed Hornbills, as the case may be.

Also to clarify slightly ... CujoSR and Polar33 are not involved with the operation of the board any more. As far as I know, both are still alive, and both would be welcomed back as members of our board, if they so choose.

Yes, yes, they are still alive. Sorry if my wording suggested otherwise.

But if they're not here, how much of a life could they be having?
