The ban on adults dressed as Disney characters is lifted during MNSSHP?

it actually encourage for you to wear a costume.

when we went, we were truely amazed at some of the effort that they had put into their costumes.

some were so good, it was hard to tell if they were CM's or not.

When my friend and I were on the shuttle bus back to our resort, I pointed out to my friend that there were a group of people. They were headed to the MK for MNSOHP. I called "Fashion Police." Bad tasting costumes. White t-shirts with bras attached on top of the shirt, and add pink wedding vails. My friend mentioned that to the driver and he said he has seen more bad tasting coustomes.

Adults are normally banned from wearing costumes in the parks. The only time this ban is is lifted during MNSSHP and only in the MK. They are allowed to dress as Disney characters and I've seen some people who could almost pass as the real thing in their costume. The rules for costumes as written in the party Tell-A-Casts are (the last one covers guests looking like our characters):

Costumes
  • Guests are encouraged to wear costumes to enhance the event feel.
  • Costumes should be child-friendly and not obstrusive or offensive.
  • Adult Guests may wear masks, but masks must not obstruct vision.
  • Guests that "look like" our Disney Characters should be politely informed they may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.

It's not new. That was my signature before I changed it to the monorail one I had for a while.

Bad tasting costumes? You mean you actually tried to eat them? :p: I'm sure you meant they were in bad taste. :D:

But, what goods a costume if you can't eat it?

Tuesday I went in my Cheshire Cat outfit. I must have had at least 20 Guests ask to take photos of me and/or pose with me for photos. I was even congratulated on my outfit by several Character Handlers.

I did ask one handler about the policy, as I did not want to get into trouble. The response was that I was obviously there as a Guest pretending to be a Furry Character and not saying that I was The Cheshire Cat. The people they have problems with are those who go as Face Characters and try to give the concept that they are the character.
