Walt Disney World has some of the most amazing attraction of any theme park. However, Disney is not perfect and has created or changed some attractions to make real stink bombs. What do you think the top five worst attractions at WDW are?
My Top 5 worsts attractions
5. Kali River Rapids, DAK - Cool Theory but the one big drop is a let down so the ride is over before it feels like it started.
4. Lights, Motor, Action - DHS, Its an OK show with some neat stunts but it wasn't edge of your seat action they promise. Saw it once and really don't feel the need to ever see it again.
3. Journey into Imagination - Epcot - The original ride with the Dream maker and Figment was how I imagine an acid trip would be but it was still cool and had a fun annoying song you left singing. Then they changed it into the lab thing with no dream maker and chopped up the cool song and so now we have a couple minutes in the dark a/c to rest and cool down.
2. Studios Backlot tour, DHS - This used to be the most amazing attraction when MGM first opened. I loved the streets of america with the golden girls and empty nest houses. Slowly the ride has been cut over and over to this hyper shortened boring attraction.
The number one worst attraction in WDW
Stitches Great Escape , MK - They took a cool scary attraction and softened it with Stitch. Problem is I don't really like sitting in the dark and smelling bad burp smells. Its not scary anymore and its not really funny. I couldn't wait for it to be over. I really want my wasted time in that attraction back

My 5 in no particular order.
1) Everest. This ride had WAY too much hype. IMO Thunder Mnt blows this one away.
2) Winnie the Pooh ride. Toad was MUCH better.
3) Stitch great escape. Come on, really. They took an AWESOME attraction and had to baby-fy it. God forbid they have a ride aimed at adults. Not everything has to be rainbows and lollipops.
4) Animal Kingdom park. Waste of space. However I will give it a chance. As we all know, when E.P.C.O.T. first opened, it wasn't a thrill.
5) Tiki Room UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. Thank God they changed this one back.

5. Monster's Inc Laugh Floor
4. The new Journey through Imagination
3. Any of the Stupid carnival games at Dinoland USA.
2. Captain EO - Michael Jackson as a hero?? Really??
1. Sounds Dangerous - took out a perfectly cute show about sound effects that included audience participation and put this debacle in.

5. Stitches Great Escape.
Now I love Stitch, he's one of my favorite characters but I'd much rather have Alien Encounters back.
4. Ellen's Energy Adventure.
Enough already, let the Dino's eat her!
3. New Journey into Imagination.
Dr. Channing Murdered the Dreamfinder!
2. All of Animal Kingdom
Sorry, I like zoo's but they don't need rides. I was never impressed with the park as a whole, probably why I haven't gone in nearly 10 years.
1. Aladdin's Magic Carpet.
We already have dumbo, now we have double Dumbos. Do you really have to stuff this in the middle of a very busy pathway?!

You do know that the magic carpets are being removed and turned into the other dumbo ride, right?Darksin wrote:5. Stitches Great Escape.

I also prefered Alien Encounter. The second time we went on it I was seated next to a screaming woman who thought it was real. It was hilarious.

Yes but I'm still including it since the placement was horrible and I still think it was a silly idea to begin with. Even if it does serve a point now.Mr. D. wrote:You do know that the magic carpets are being removed and turned into the other dumbo ride, right?

I have not seen that from any official sources, pretty sure carpets are staying right there.Mr. D. wrote:You do know that the magic carpets are being removed and turned into the other dumbo ride, right?

Stitch's Great Escape (yuck!)
Sounds Dangerous (and boring)
Winnie the Pooh (except for the bouncing with Tigger part)
AstroOrbiter (always feels like I'm gonna fall out)
LightsMotorsAction! (big build-up but fizzle-fizzle)
Love Ellen's Energy Adventure. Animal Kingdom is my favorite park.
Different strokes for different folks. ;)
